Don’t be stupid!

Consider Learning and Specializing in one or two preparedness fields, take a First responder’s class (for the knowledge), such as chemicals, logistics, advanced first aid, weapons, security, food storage, communication, and/or others. Have the knowledge and equipment that will make you a valued asset to others. The time you use for entertainment can be well spent on learning useful skills (I recently took up leather crafts).

Take what you already know and capitalize on that, and find something else you enjoy as a hobby. During hard times, people need each other, and the reality is as a stranger, it is easier to like someone and take them in, if you need their skills or knowledge. A jack of all trades, will find it easier to make friends then a master of nothing.

NoStressMike.com provides seminars and private classes on everything you need to know to survive any disaster natural or man-made (physical, emotional, and financial) and a Ready List of needed items.
