Been There, Done That

I have experienced and/or have been subjected to:
•Gas shortages
•Bank closures
•Food and water shortages
•Financial collapse at a national level
•Economic inflation
•High interest
•Floods
•Tornados
•Mud slides
•Hurricanes
•Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, dry, and/or windy)
•Have had to take cold showers
•Been unemployed and incapable of caring for my own family
•I lost my mother and father at an early age
•So much fear I have wet and pup my pants (more then once)
•I have personally been threatened or attacked (and in some cases had to take action to stay alive) by;
Bad guys
Street gangs
Bandits
Corrupt or resentful police, military, and government officials
•I personal have been the subject of riots and numerous personal attacks;
Emotional
Financial
Physical
Spiritual
•In 2007, at the age of 57, I was the first person to use concealed carry to stop a crime in progress in the state of Kansas when I got in a convenient store shooting with an armed street gang while they attempted a robbery. Afterwards they came to my house with the intent to get revenge.
•I have seen people suffer and even die because of their inability or unwillingness to be prepared, make decisions, or to take some kind of action, kind a like the deer in the head lights.
•With severe health issues in my family, we have chosen no government assistance (Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, or anything), and we have choose not to apply for social security, and we left the country so we could care for ourselves the way we think we need to be cared for.
•Probably more I can not remember.


My career has been made up of:
* Viet Nam combat decorated United States Marine (19 years old)
* Self-Employed; creating jobs, teaching and learning skills, making a payroll, and contributing to all the good our country has to offer most of my life (mostly restaurants)
* Natural Gas and Oil Producer (1979-1985) [30 years old]
* Night Club/Road House (1989-2003)
* Trained Law Enforcement (S.W.A.T. Teams; Counter-Terrorism, Specializing in Hostage Rescue, 1988-2003)

Presently I am;
* Teach Individuals and Small Business Counter-Terrorism/kidnapping as a Safety Consultant (1990)
* Professional Travel Companion (not a body guard, 1994)
* Controlling Chi For Health and Personal Safety (1989)
* Live, Tour, and Work off and on in Central America (2004)
* Numerous motorcycle trips (some over 5,000 miles long) in and outside the United States with my companion, Zena, my dog, sometimes in extremely treacherous road and weather conditions (60,000 plus miles since 2004) working on the road to pay my travel expenses
* Because of illness in the family, I am the principle health care provider and I went bankrupt (2009)
*I speak, write, and teach urban and rural survival from social, personal, and situational chaos.
* I share my experiences and solutions, as a speaker, author, video maker, and offer a safe, healthy, Get-Away.
