Generally Speaking on Self-defense and Firearms

First Step; you need the proper attitude and spiritually strong, with the proper attitude so you will stay focused on what is truly important, your beliefs, your life, and your loved ones lives (now and for the future), and be able to pay the consequences for your actions.
* The results of your actions may involve paying a fine or going to jail for what you truly believe was the right action to take under the circumstances.
* Prepared mentally, emotionally, and physically for ridicule from your friends, family, and/or the court of law, just for thinking of taking responsibility for yourself.
* And prepare for the reprisal from the friends, family, and/or court of law because you felt you had no options other than the use force or use lethal force.

Second Step;
take some action to form the proper tactics (armed and/or unarmed) which will work 100% of the time when you are performing under tremendous pressure and the odds of survival are at the minimum. The better you can do this the better your chances will be to not only succeed, but to prosper from your actions.

Choice of Firearms;
keep them simple to use and maintain, as reliable as possible (if you have to shoot someone they will only give you one chance), and medium priced will probably by your best value.

I tell people who buy a handgun for self-defense and/or concealed carry to buy it new (sign the papers). If you have to shoot someone you will have many legal problems to contend with, you don’t want to explain why you carry a stolen or a gun used in a murder.

Women are special and use special gear and special tactics.

The .357 Magnum Smith and Wesson have the best reputation for one shoot kills, but only has 6 shoots. The perfect handgun for self-defense

Home Defense; your home is your castle but only until someone takes it. Take the appreciate steps to keep it. Warning system is a must to know when danger is nearby, Rifles, and Shotguns can be bought cheaper used, no papers, and if there is a future problem, tell the police you bought it at a gun show (its legal and they hate that). Each primary firearm should have a sealed case of ammunition stored.

* RifleAK 47 with the proper ammunition for home defense with regard to your neighbors. The AK 47 is known for its penetration. Plastic, porcelain, or round designed not to go through walls so the bullets don’t go into the neighbors’ house, and full metal jacket to go through everything else (not brick or thick steel, yes car doors, glass, and thick wood), you would rather not face your threats. Each AK needs 4/30 round magazines, if you have to shoot all 4 at one time your gun will be too hot to hold. The AK 47 is the finest self-defense weapon in the world for the money; no one wants to face an AK 47.

* Shotgun;
Remington 670 pump 12 gauge, load with 00 Buck Shot and a slug should be the first round in the magazine because it will be the last one out which will have a maximum blast telling you you that was your last shoot.

All firearms are compared to the above in reliability, effectiveness, ease of operation and maintenance. I own many of these and will hand it to anyone with minimum training in firearms and they will be affective with them.

For a $20 dollar bill, in person, privately, I will tell you what to do and say after shooting someone in self-defense which will insure no jail time. This only works for self-defense.
